Apple Tree Grafting Workshop and General Meeting on April 8, 2019

Please join us at 6:30pm on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Yeomalt Cabin.

At our apple tree grafting workshop, you will learn how to graft your own apple tree seedlings.  Grafting creates apple trees with your favorite varieties of fruit on special rootstock.  

We will learn about different apple tree varieties, grafting techniques, and apple tree care.  All members will take home their own grafted apple tree seedling.

We'll also enjoy warm apple pie as a delicious treat!! 

4-H Guest Speaker and General Meeting

We're happy to announce the guest speaker for our next 4-H General Meeting!  Jeanne Goussev, together with her team, Sail Like a Girl, won the 2018 750 mile R2K - Race to Alaska.  The R2K is North America’s longest human and wind powered race.  Jeanne will share their amazing story about the no motor, no support, no kidding adventure. 

This team surely used their head, heart, hands, and health in their journey!!
