March has been a busy month for Bainbridge Island 4H!

• Thank you to The Bainbridge Island Fruit Club!
  Our annual fruit tree grafting event was a big success!  The Bainbridge Island Fruit Club taught our 4H members about tree grafting.  Each member got the opportunity to experience grafting first hand by grafting apple and pear trees. Each member took home their grafted trees.  Great Job!!
  
  
• Our 4H members help make our local kittens cozy!
  4H members gathered together to sew blankets and toys for Bainbridge Island PAWS .  The kittens will certainly enjoy these cozy and fun creations.  Way to go 4H members on a great community service project!!

4H braved the rain to host the petting area at the Egg Scramble, April 19th at Strawberry Hill.  Thank you courageous 4Hers and their pets (and their parents).  You are awesome!

St Patrick's Day was our annual grafting workshop at Yeomalt Cabin.   The Peninsula Fruit Club had representatives available to instruct club members on the ins and outs of grafting.  4H members, parents and friends grafted a quite a few apples, cherries, plums, and pears.
