What exactly is a record book and how do I get started on one?
Good question! A record book consists of information that you'll record in a notebook over the course of the year. It will document your goals, knowledge and skills gained, leadership experiences, awards earned, and community service!
All those great experiences you're having will be recorded on forms, narratives, and a story written by you. Then, at the end of the year, you'll have the opportunity to submit your finished record book to 4-H judges, giving you the chance to earn awards.
